The Wedding - August 14th, 2012

Good morning! The girls worked while Jerry and I ate fresh blueberry pancakes and omlets... inside the Silver Fork Lodge.
First we decorated the tables and the arch,
then Sara...
 Then the rest of us.
Then we went to the Oquirrh Mountain Temple.

The Bryan Luke's
Yea!
The Ring Ceremony, Dinner and reception.
Helen makes some finishing touches.
Elena and Kristina hang up the name tags.
Ann and Sarah's cake.
The Ring Ceremony. Jerry's best I think.

Cory and Stephanie's song. I wish you could have heard it.
Best DJ in the country.

So the party is over and I wish we could repeat it again and again.

Catching up - again.

This is the new flag on the pole in front of our church. The cub scouts raised it on the Fourth of July.
It was a beautiful sight - after years of not having a flag - except the one Jocelyn put up with the scouts, and the one David Bunting put up for a few weeks.
This is the empty pole a week later. Someone - broke into the lock box and took our flag.
It happened 5 months ago but it still makes me sick and sad every time I pull into our parking lot.
Now on to happier things: This is Cannon - Ben's new best friend - next to Janae. Ben's golf course bought him to herd the birds OFF the golf course. He is one talented and expensive dog. And he loves Ben. Isn't he cute.
DISNEYLAND - SEPTEMBER 2012
I got to go to Disneyland with Stephanie, her mom and the kids, for Hannah's birthday. It was great fun. I took Caleb on the Grizzly Water Ride in California Disney... usually I leave those up to the men but since there were no men... I thought I was going to die but I didn't. And Caleb is game for anything so it made him happy.
Everything was decorated for Halloween.

Close your eyes and imagine eating one of those Pineapple Whip thingies out side of the jungle ride.
That's what we did.
This t shirt made me laugh out loud.
Aren't pirates wonderful.
Hannah picked out a new Tangled doll for her birthday.
And she got to chat with Rapunzel.
Caleb got an Indiana Jones outfit - for Halloween.
And Ben and Janae had dinner with us at the Rain Forrest Cafe!
Good times.
Part 2
I guess I should mention Sara and Bryan's wedding.
Check Alison's blog for more great pictures. Here's some of mine.

We were able to stay together in a great house not far from Sara and the reception venue. The park next door was very handy.

We had a BBQ with my family. My advice: always invite Jesus to any "food function" - he and his brother fixed the greatest meal. See what I mean:
Did I mention that Kristina was there too. She and Sara have been best friends since they were born -literally. Sept 21, 1983 and Sept 22, 1983.

We were able to go to Temple Square together.

Am I lucky or what!

The Condensed Version.

The pedicure. I needed a pedicure and I was tending Hannah - so we both went. She was the youngest customer they told me. And her legs were too short for the regular chair. So he tried a different chair... still to short. So he tried piling up phone books. Nope. So he decided to eliminate the 'soak feet in the bucket of warm water step' and let her legs dangle. Whatever works. She picked green polish - her dad's favorite color. And they looked fabulous - until we walked out to the car... and most of it smooshed off. It was fun anyway.

The fiance'. Sara got engaged. Lucky I was on my way to SLC to hear her play in her piano recital anyway so I got to see the ring and re-meet the guy. Bryan Joshua Luke. I already knew he could have a good time at Disneyland, and the fact that Sara liked him a lot - well it was the best news.

So then he had to meet Jerry... that was fun. We went to St. George and it was love at first sight!
My birthday. I talked Sara into flying home for my birthday oh and would you like to go to see Les Miz just for fun too. Yep! So we did - with Ben and Janae. Then she made me a strawberry pie and blue berry pancakes. And she wrote me a book.
I also got a cute Apron from Texas and a George Strait CD. The Cory Randall's came to my party too.

I forgot something... Before the whole birthday/Les Miz thing - I went to Sara's, and her cousin Whitney's bridal shower that my sister gave them - in Utah.

They even got white Vans monogrammed with their wedding dates!!! It was a fun Patty party.
